Is the grass greener on the other side?

#MummyMemoirs

I grew up in a single parent household, giving me the luxury of two homes, two bedrooms, two lifestyles, two chances of getting something that I had circled in the Argos catalogue.

ARSENAL LADIES V BIRMINGHAM CITY. CONTINENTAL CUP SEMI-FINAL

Arsenal make a pacey start to the game as Correderea places a long cross over to Carter on the right wing. Carter rushes forward and plays the ball into Nobbs feet in the middle of the park ,but with a little too much enthusiasm Nobbs rockets the ball over the crossbar.

"You find out who your true friends are once you have a baby"

I have seen this quote surface on social media countless times, and I have never for one second related to it. I have had the same friends around me since I was 11 years old, and they are still here today.

This post isn't about bashing my friends, but merely a self reflection on my life since becoming a mother.

The big day

First and foremost let me apologise for the late blogpost. I am still soaking in all the festivities of the weekend. It's been a long time coming and an even longer and stressful time preparing for the special day. But WE DID IT!!

Magnum London

Ever since Raphael has been born, I can count the amount of times I have travelled into the west end. Before he was born I pretty much lived in the west end; working in almost every major retailer on Oxford street, from Topshop to Selfridges.

Working in such a desired tourist location, every weekend, I would come across some amazing pop up stores or food markets that I would be none the wiser to if I wasn't in the right place at the right time.

My New Baby

From the title of this post, I'm pretty sure you've guessed it. YES! I have a new baby. Ive been waiting for this moment for literally 9months. You know that moment that us mothers bang on about looking into their babies eyes for the first time? How soul touching it is. You just feel alive. I feel so blessed to re-live this feeling for the second time.
