First and foremost let me apologise for the late blogpost. I am still soaking in all the festivities of the weekend. It's been a long time coming and an even longer and stressful time preparing for the special day. But WE DID IT!!
Ever since Raphael has been born, I can count the amount of times I have travelled into the west end. Before he was born I pretty much lived in the west end; working in almost every major retailer on Oxford street, from Topshop to Selfridges.
Working in such a desired tourist location, every weekend, I would come across some amazing pop up stores or food markets that I would be none the wiser to if I wasn't in the right place at the right time.
From the title of this post, I'm pretty sure you've guessed it. YES! I have a new baby. Ive been waiting for this moment for literally 9months. You know that moment that us mothers bang on about looking into their babies eyes for the first time? How soul touching it is. You just feel alive. I feel so blessed to re-live this feeling for the second time.
I was recently looking through my mums old photo albums and it was so cool to see how she documented an album based on her motherhood, from fashionable pictures of her "werking" that baby bump (tiny Pippa) to pictures of my brother and I on our first holidays and other special memories. It dawned on me that I had nothing special like this to show my son when he will be older. Nothing to show him how cool his mum is (so I like to think), nothing that documents all of our fun days out.
Now I'm sure I'm not the only one that has an iPhone photo album of 3000+ pictures and videos.. What's that, I am?
I go by the name of Philippa but you can call me Pippa. I'm a single mother from London but I have recently moved to Essex. My whole entire existence is based on my love for my son, football and food.
From my blog logo I'm sure you will also expect what to get out of my blog. But if you have no idea, heres a little rundown of what to expect;
My involvement in Football
Fashion and lifestyle- trying to be glamorous and maintain a healthy lifestyle
Real life motherhood stories, from my struggles to my glories.
Some posts may just be to showcase my photography which I have a new found love for.
And of course, you may follow me on my travels, (whenever that may be)
