She went on to say that people tend to have a routine during the working week, then Friday night approaches and its the battle of social nights out, a cheeky take-away or a grabbing a quick meal on the go. At first I didn't agree with her because organised people with a daily routine tend to have organised weekends too.
Unfortunately I do not fall into that "organised" category, as no day is ever the same in my life. If I'm not at university or studying , I'm either doing shift work, at an arsenal game, or down B&Q looking for wallpaper for my new home. I may not have an organised lifestyle but I do know how to prepare. Based on the fact that I would be working three late shifts in a row over the weekend, I went down to my local supermarket and bought two HUGE fillets of salmon, mackerel, king prawns, some fresh brocolli, green beans and mushrooms, and there you have it, my tasty healthy Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday night meal.

I literally have Green tea about 4-5 times a day, little known fact that it increases fat burning and improves physical performance. Damn! I can feel the inches dropping off already haha!

I was super proud of myself for staying focused over the entire weekend, believe me it was hard, if anyone would have given me those meals a few months ago I would have said "you're missing something mate, where's the rice? Where's the pasta? Where's the meat??!" It is a massive change in my eating habits but it's something I've incorporated over time. I would prepare the same vegetable based meals but add a portion of brown rice, and over time I would decrease the portion of rice or have rice in my lunch portion but not in my dinner. I never thought the day would come when I said that I'm satisfied with my meal prep but WAHEEEYY! I'm satisfied with this weekend's meals. What did you eat?
