I hope you are well and enjoying this festive season. I am in particular as it's my first Christmas in my first home. I've never really felt the Christmas excitement before now, in recent years I would be bored, house hopping or too "merry" to even remember what day it is.

VIDEO: Mountain Climbing in Benalmadena
This was the most adventurous and exciting part of our trip to Malaga. We stumbled across the cable cars when we headed to the Theme Park.

Is the grass greener on the other side?
#MummyMemoirs
I grew up in a single parent household, giving me the luxury of two homes, two bedrooms, two lifestyles, two chances of getting something that I had circled in the Argos catalogue.

"You find out who your true friends are once you have a baby"
#MummyMemoirs
I have seen this quote surface on social media countless times, and I have never for one second related to it. I have had the same friends around me since I was 11 years old, and they are still here today.
This post isn't about bashing my friends, but merely a self reflection on my life since becoming a mother.

The big day

First and foremost let me apologise for the late blogpost. I am still soaking in all the festivities of the weekend. It's been a long time coming and an even longer and stressful time preparing for the special day. But WE DID IT!!

Magnum London
Ever since Raphael has been born, I can count the amount of times I have travelled into the west end. Before he was born I pretty much lived in the west end; working in almost every major retailer on Oxford street, from Topshop to Selfridges.
Working in such a desired tourist location, every weekend, I would come across some amazing pop up stores or food markets that I would be none the wiser to if I wasn't in the right place at the right time.

My New Baby
From the title of this post, I'm pretty sure you've guessed it. YES! I have a new baby. Ive been waiting for this moment for literally 9months. You know that moment that us mothers bang on about looking into their babies eyes for the first time? How soul touching it is. You just feel alive. I feel so blessed to re-live this feeling for the second time.

#NameThatCarChallenge
Ever since I stepped into that shiny Mercedes showroom in Loughton on a spontaneous Wednesday afternoon, NOTHING has been the same. Raphael and I spent a couple of hours looking at the potential "Mummy's new car" and he instantly fell in love with the three pointed star emblem.

*Throwback Thursday Post* Nike Risk Everything Winners.
It has been a phenomenal week for football fans in the city of London. The old Sorting house on New Oxford Street had been transformed into Nike Phenomenal house for one week only. The venue housed an event that fused "the world of music, style, football and innovation"
with a genealogy of football boots, spikes and trainers, a pop-up shop with exclusive and customised Nike gear and also a store to buy 1 of 1055 prints of the commemorative Arsenal and Nike 20 years union.

Nike Football X Launch| NikeTown London
There's no party like a Nike party.
Nike kicked off their Football X Tournament in their flagship store Niketown on 22nd May 2015 and in true Nike style the event did not disappoint. With the best of the UK grime scene blaring through the speakers, young hopefuls stepped into the cage to compete for a place in the Nike football X tournament.

Double Barrier for Black Women in Football
The male domination of football makes it very hard for women to break into the industry. When I see a female journalist on a big stage such as the Champions League, or the World Cup, I scream with excitement inside knowing that women are getting recognition in football – or could it be that these few women are simply covering up discrimination in football?
There are some names that come to mind when women in football are mentioned: Natalie Sawyer for her participation in transfer deadline days and Gabby Logan for being the first female host of Match of The Day. It is embarrassing that the mind cannot easily recall more than a few female household names in football, whereas the list of male names is endless.

Join The Club
Running 5k sounds like such a bore. I don't know about you but I get put off the thought of running any kind of distance, leave that to the athletes. These are all the excuses I would convince myself with to avoid jogging a mile and dying of heart failure. (Drama queen) I needed some sort of motivation, these fit ladies I see running around the park didn't come out of the womb running 10k they all started somewhere.

You Gotta Start Somewhere
Hey, remember me? I know it's been a mighty long time since we last met, but Lord knows I have been the busiest I have ever been in my life, but that's no excuse to neglect my trusty readers. I've decided that im going to open my doors and let you in to the REAL journey to fitness; My sweaty workouts, my meal preps, new diets, the school run, uni assignments, decorating my new house, matchdays with Arsenal, home workouts, the odd occasion I get to hit the gym,the whole lot.
